Eintracht Neuzugang Kommt Bisher Noch Nicht In Fahrt

Eintracht-Neuzugang kommt bisher noch nicht in Fahrt

Eintracht's new signing still struggling to find his feet

Despite impressing in preseason, Borré has yet to make a significant impact in the Bundesliga

Eintracht Frankfurt's new signing Rafael Santos Borré has yet to make a significant impact in the Bundesliga since joining the club from River Plate in the summer.

The Colombian striker impressed in preseason, scoring three goals in four appearances. However, he has struggled to replicate that form in competitive matches.

Borré has started three of Eintracht's four Bundesliga games this season, but he has yet to score or provide an assist. He has also been guilty of missing several good chances.

Eintracht coach Oliver Glasner has defended Borré, saying that he needs time to adapt to the Bundesliga. However, the German coach will be hoping that the Colombian can start to find his feet soon.

Eintracht are currently 13th in the Bundesliga, having won one, drawn one, and lost two of their four games so far.

What's next for Borré?

Borré will be hoping to start and score when Eintracht host Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Colombian will also be hoping to impress Colombia coach Reinaldo Rueda, who is set to name his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

  • Borré is a 25-year-old striker who has been capped 10 times by Colombia.
  • He joined Eintracht from River Plate in the summer for a fee of around €10 million.
