Nottm Forest - Wolves: Match Preview

Teams in fine form ahead of the Championship clash

Championship leaders take on play-off hopefuls

Nottingham Forest will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Championship when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Steve Cooper's side are currently five points clear of second-placed Bournemouth, and a win against Wolves would move them a step closer to automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Wolves, meanwhile, are in sixth place and have a good chance of reaching the play-offs.

Bruno Lage's side are just three points behind third-placed Huddersfield Town having been just outside the playoff places for the majority of the season.

Both teams come into this match in good form, with Forest unbeaten in their last seven games and Wolves winning their last three.

This should be a close and entertaining match between two teams with plenty to play for.

Team news

Forest will be without the suspended Joe Worrall, while Wolves are missing the injured Nelson Semedo and Hwang Hee-Chan.

What the managers are saying

"We know that Wolves are a good team, but we're confident that we can get a result," said Cooper.

"They're a well-organised team with some very good players, but we're at home and we're confident that we can win."

"We're in good form and we're confident that we can get a result," said Lage.

"Forest are a good team, but we're confident that we can beat them."

Wolves: Sa; Jonny, Collins, Kilman, Ait-Nouri; Neves, Moutinho; Trincao, Podence, Neto; Jimenez
