Israeli Military Recovers Bodies of Three Hostages in Gaza, Including Shani Louk
Bodies Found After Months-Long Search

The Israeli military announced Friday that its troops in Gaza have recovered the bodies of three Israeli hostages, including Shani Louk, a 28-year-old photographer and social media influencer. The bodies of Amit Buskila and Yitzhak Gelernter were also found.
The three hostages were captured in June 2022 by Hamas militants during a raid into Israel. Their bodies were found in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, according to the Israeli military.
The recovery of the bodies brings to a close a months-long search and investigation by the Israeli military and security services. The families of the hostages have been notified of the discovery.
The Israeli government has expressed its condolences to the families of the hostages and vowed to continue its efforts to bring those responsible for their capture to justice.
